A native of Lancaster, Pennsylvania, my employer moved me to Georgia in 1991. In 2001 I made the move to Monticello and have lived in the same home for 23 years with my husband Walt and our four cats. Monticello is my chosen home.
This is not my first time on City Council. I have served the City as Mayor Pro Tem, Mayor, and now Councilmember.
My experience is in Management and Insurance. I have an Associate Degree in Business which has been very helpful throughout my career and on the City Council. I am very active in the community, serving as Chair of the Jasper County 911 Authority, an Elder in Monticello Presbyterian, Administative Director of Musical Theater Camp at Thomas Persons Hall, a graduate of Leadership Jasper and now back as the District One Representative on City Council.
